“ A few days earlier we never received our order thru grub hub. While the grub hub driver as well as Grubhub was unresponsive the restaurant made this right. They replaced the entire order and then some. I want to thank the management at Local Steamer Seafood for going above and beyond and protecting your reputation when a third party falls down on the job. “ We ordered two Famous Steamer Baskets and had them DoorDash'd to our condo near South Thomas. Everything was fantastic! The crab legs were perfectly cooked and the shrimp were just as good. The baskets came with corn, potatoes, sausage, garlic butter, and cocktail sauce--what more do you need? We opted for the medium spice level, which had a kick (definitely spicier than Tony's for comparison). I enjoy spice and would probably try the spicy level next time. For the quality and portion size, it was absolutely worth the price. Give this place a try! ”

“ WOW. WOW. WOW. My family and I were in 30A for Labor Day weekend and were craving a seafood boil. This hole in the wall was recommended to us by some local friends so we decided to check it out. Parking is a little tight since the lot is small, but with some patience we found a spot. Inside, the staff is super helpful and made sure we had everything in our large order. For 20 people, we ordered several orders crab legs, peeled shrimp, royal red shrimp (which were juicier and plumper than the regular shrimp), mussels, corn, sausage, and potatoes. They even gave us butcher paper for us to take and lay down. When we got home with the takeout, the food was so good, we were almost silent when first digging into the spread. All the seafood was so flavorful and tender. The buttery mussel and plump red shrimp were my favorite. The sausage was rich and the corn was seasoned wonderfully. The potatoes too were garlicky, buttery goodness. Overall, REALLY great dinner and one we will be returning to on future beach trips! ”

This was a to go order so can't say too much about the ambiance other than casual. I can't believe how small the key lime pie was and how expensive. You are better off purchasing that item somewhere else but the seafood steamer food it's delicious. ”
